CHRISTUS Medical Group (CMG) consists of primary care (family practice, internal medicine and pediatric) and obstetrical/gynecological medical clinics throughout Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. In addition, CMG staffs several of our hospitals with intensivists, hospitalists and surgeons.

All of our Associates share the same mission: to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. We know that providing high quality care is a team effort between our physicians and Associates requiring constant communication with our patients. We strive to achieve that goal every day for every patient.

Unlike hospital quality measures that are tracked by multiple government and independent agencies, there are no standardized reporting agencies for the quality of care provided by physician practices. Because CMG is dedicated to being a high quality medical provider delivering both excellent clinical care and service, CMG regularly monitors a variety of Quality Measures although we are not required by law to do so.

CMG demonstrates its strong commitment to quality through a measurement system designed to monitor key indicators that are critical to providing excellent care. To maintain an environment of continual process improvement and provide our patients the best in care, the CMG quality measures are constantly undergoing thorough review and evaluation. As new data becomes available on additional measures, we will report them here.
