Our Associates and providers are dedicated to our patients and our communities. They are actively involved in giving back to the communities they serve and provided an average of over 20 hours per Associate in volunteer time in fiscal year 2007. Our Associates also raised over $15,000 for worthy causes such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Heart Association and Susan G. Komen Foundation and in toy and school supply drives in fiscal year 2007.
Because we value our Associates’ input, teams hold monthly forums to discuss ideas and develop and implement action plans to continue to improve our performance in many areas:
• Patient Advocacy Team—CMG established this team to help provide a means of listening to our patients’ needs and helping to address concerns on a clinic and entity wide basis. The Patient Advocacy Team focuses on both our Patient Satisfaction and Clinical Quality Goals and in making CMG a great place to seek healthcare.
• Excellence Team—This team was established in order to help identify ways to make CMG a great place to work. The Excellence Team also assists with identifying and coordinating community service activities in local CMG areas. The team membership includes at least one nominated Associate from each CMG location.
